long time, no see

Hey.... wow.. its been forever since i've written...but i have a project im working on with becky and it's sooo much fun.. i can't wait until im done... i hope becky doesn't care... but we're making appliques to put on totebags... right now my fingers are sooooo sore because ive been playing with wire... i'll post pics. when i'm done.. but im making a really cute boy and girl robot holding hands for one and it is turning out so much cuter than i ever would have imagined!! but im having sososo much fun doing it!!!! im ready to have this one finished so i can start my next one!! that one will probly be a robot also... im obsessed..

anyway... i know this was kinda a lame blg but the next one will have pics. of my applique... and im thinking of making a supercute robot pillow also! we'll see! anyway im going to go say prayers then its off to bed!! im so tired and feeling yucky!

im not dead... yet

wow its been a while since ive done this... but im just gonna jump on in... on wed. my mom took me and brett to get our eyes checked... my mom thought i was crazy when i said i could hardly read something if it was more than like a foot away. So when we got there and the doctor told my mom that my eyesight was actually worse than brett's she was soooo surprised... and well....

the doctor said it would be (if i wanted them) okay to get contacts... so me and brett have started on contacts.. and next wednesday when we go in for the follow up (or whatever its called) if we like the contacts we will get official ones..

my mom had the cutest boy and girl thing ever that she got from her mom who got it from her friend... and now im attempting one in colors of my room (the original was ,where the tealish color, red) heres how far i am on mine... i still have a ways to go.

for christmas becky got me this ADORABLE owl vinyl for my room... it took foREver to put up. but it was totally and completely worth it!!!!!!!! thanks becky!!

and she got this one for free and gave it to me and so i recently finished the frame just so i could put up my birds! i love them!!!

and the saturday after christmas me and kelsie went to 2 goodwills and di looking for more owls...(yes more,.... you can never have too many cute owls)... and an old digital flippy clock! we had success in both and i found my awesome clock!!! i was so excited!!!

and i found three new owls and got rid of one.... ( me and kelsie traded)

so... i hope everyone had a good whatever.. and its back to school (gag) on mon... but grandma cory comes sometime next week.. i think either mon ot tues.... so thatll be fun!

okay...so honestly i was going to do an Oregon post.... but it would be a rerun... so I'm going to do an "elsie inspired" blog... elsie was my scrapbook hero.... I'm slowly forgiving her for resigning at ki memories... her blog is in my firend list as 'love, elsie'..... first let me just say that my computer broke and i didn't have anything to blog about so.... first off, I became a teenager because i got a cell phone.... yes, a teenager... i also got a zune from yee...(thanks again yee!!).... i know..i know... i'm spoilt.. any way...here goes my real blog...

i love love love to paint

I started with watercolor... then went to acrylics... and then tim gave me an oil set and have been pretty much absessed ever since...

after i paint my room usually is very messy with all of my painting stuff for a while after...

i love to get new paintbrushes!! i don't know why...

And my very recent fondness is for sewing

i did pants and bags for humanitarian aid..

I'm so very obsessed with robots right now...

i drew these during church.... it occupied me the whole time..

I've come to the conclusion that the reason i like to sew and paint is because i can listen to music without getting yelled at.... i love music...

boring post..

Yesterday me and my mom went to a high school....why? because we registered me to go... today was my first day... it was good.. despite the fact i have NO friends there...and i can only wear gray denim, black, white, or khaki.... it was good..it supposed to be so i can get a year done in half the time.. so we'll see how long I'll be there.... I'll be there at least for one semester ( regular school semester).. which there is two semesters...kind of.. I'm happy to be back in school.. with homework and interacting with real people sitting in front of me... although the classes are like way easy and half the kids are really noisy... and in each class it's me and two other white people... in one class i think it's three other white people... but.. I only have three classes and there each one and a half hour long.. with a 45 minute lunch... so it starts at 8 and I get done at 1:10.. It's AWESOME!!! Anywho... it's lots of fun and there is only a tiny bit of homework.. so it's all good.. anyway i know this was boring but I'll try to post again soon about more exciting things... so happy thursday!!

YAY!!!

Okay so..Saturday at12:15 ish we got our new vampire book.. we went on friday night at like 11 and waited like an hour.. with like only ten other people waiting ...so it hits12:01 and we are all like "okay where are the people with the books??" then about 14 minutes later one of the workers comes and tells one of the girls that the books are back in the electronics... so we all start going back there..we got there and we couldn't find them..because they were behind the registers back there..so we got it and the whole way home i was totally excited...and when i got home i jumped into the book and didn't stop reading until like three hours or 200ish pages later...so i got up turned off the light..layed there for like ten minutes..got back up turned the light back on and kept reading...finally at like 10:30 last night I finsihed it!!! i'm soo excited.. no more worrying about Vampires and werewolves.. to those of you reading this book.. happy reading... but if you're not then... happy monday!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

Why am I so excited???I've tried like two times doing the finish on the pendants.. and neither of them worked so today I thought "Okay...I'm going to try with the real ones and see what happens.." Well you're supposed to give them eight hours to sit and dry and this last one i did I've only had sitting like five hours..I know, only....but it already seems to be working and I'm so so so excited!!I'm soooo excited..

for stsy i'm not only doing hats but I'm doing "scrabble" tile pendants....except i'm you rummikub tiles.. i'm doing scrabble tiles too but ...if you have any ideas i could use to make that wouldn't be too hard to do on a rummikub tile...let me know and you just might see it on our etsy..

You see.. my dad had an idea that we could use them..which ok, I can understand...but to keep them up on the cupboards isn't going to be the easiest way to dispense...

Anyhow, on Friday Mom decided to pickle beets... and carrots..she said she had to make them look cool/pretty..

Which I have to say that they did come out looking pretty cool..

And then me, Kelsie, and Preston made hats..

This is my finished product... you could've gotten it on etsy... but Yee bought already soo... I'm in the process of making more..

Today we babysat Taisei...

Me and Kelsie also got to peel TONS of apples to make applesauce..

We had three grocery bags pretty much full that we had to peel...

We had the bowl like this three or four times... i can't remember..

It filled the two pans (maybe more cuz mom squished them down so she could fit the rest in...) completely..

Then, the other day me and mom bought stuff to make green salsa...so we made that..

It had a little too much onion in it... but Tai loved it!!

...4th of July

So on the morning of fourth of July me and Kelsie made necklaces with stuff me and becky got the night before... this is the first one we made..

Then we made two like this... these ones are inter-changeable... I don't know if you can tell..

Then the cousins came at like 4ish... When almost everyone was gone we went and rented Drillbit Taylor and watched...It ended at like 11:30 so me and Becky decided to Scrapbook...

When we finished scrapbooking it was like three in the morning... there wasn't a clock in my rooom so we didn't know it was three in the morning...

I'm really loving how my room turned out.. and I'm so goad that my mom helped me do it... i would've given up after painting...(just cuz it looked nasty after the wallpaper)..

All right here's for Brynn, Becky, Kelsie, and Carey.... You all wanted me to get a blog.... so now I have one.... I don't know how often I will post but I'll try to do it.

So as you all probably know... I switched rooms.. I am now in what used to be David and Preston's room...I took wallpaper down, painted it light green, and I'm now on to Decorating!!! The decorating is all according to the chair I recovered...YES I RECOVERED ..Mom helped me only with the two sewing parts.. This chair....So I (with some help from mom) made a really cute headboard... and mom is making me a really cute quilt. So now I need to hang all my stuff on the walls.... so saturday...after Preston's baptism me, Kelsie, and Becky went to Goodwill and were randomly looking and found these:There were a lot more... but these were my favorite.. They are also kind of weird but...They're owls...(Becky-you need to let me know when you want me to come clean your carpets.) So..we found them... and I told them." I don't have anywhere to put them..." So off we went to look for some shelves...we were successful...we found these....I'm going to paint them...I'm not sure which color but...and then put my owls on them...so I'll show when i have them up.... Here's a picture of my headboard...I have a little table thingy too that I painted white but right now it is REALLY messy..so...I'll put pictures up of my quilt too when it's done..
